The Papatoetoe Adolescent Christian Trust was set up in December 1994 by Bob McCoskrie and incorporated under the Charitable Trusts Act 1957 on January 20th 1995. A Board of Trustees was appointed under the chairmanship of Rev Steve Emery-Wright.

The Trust employed Bob McCoskrie as its first full-time Youthworker, and there are now 2 full-time staff and 5 part-time staff. There are also many volunteers who assist in providing programmes and working in the community.
